What is QMAP Academy’s fee?

QMAP Academy charges a fee of $125 per student. You must pay the fee before attending the class. You can choose from different payment options at the time of registration. Fees are subject to change.

What will I learn at QMAP Academy?

At the completion of this course, you will be able to:
• Properly read, understand and transcribe physician’s orders
• Safely administer medications via multiple “routes” in designated settings using written physician orders according to the “7 rights of administration”
• Document medication administration according to state board of health regulations
• Safely administer medications from Medication Reminder Boxes (MRB)
You will also learn:
• The legal and ethical aspects of medication administration
• The common types, names, forms, dosages, and effects of medications
• The signs, symptoms, and treatments of adverse reactions and medication errors
• The proper storage, handling, disposal, and inventory of medications
